About the Journal

African Journal of Politics and Administration (AJPA) is a peer reviewed interdisciplinary Journal of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. It provides an intellectual forum for critical discourse on research, theory and praxis with reflections on issues of politics, policy, administration, democracy and development in Africa, nay the developing world from a broadly pan-African perspective. AJPA publishes papers from scholars and policy makers in Political Science, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities and relevant organizations. It also welcomes book reviews of no more than 1500 words. Interested contributors are encouraged to submit their manuscript for consideration and possible publication in the next edition of the journal.

Editorial Policy

1.             Contributions must be original, never published or sent for publication elsewhere.

2.             It should be written in English Language (United Kingdom English). The format is Microsoft Word document, Times New Roman, font size 12, single line spacing, page numbers, maximum of 6,000 words (extra words will attract extra publication charges), 200-250 words abstract, maximum of five (5) key words and APA referencing style.

3.             Articles received will first undergo peer-review before being considered for publication. Feedback for submitted papers will be made within three weeks from the date of receipt of manuscript.

4.             The paper shall contain Author’s name, affiliation, phone number and email address.

5.             The paper that is accepted for publication will have the author’s copyright transferred to the Editorial Board of this Journal.

Submission of Manuscript

All submissions should be made to ajpa@aaua.edu.ng. Kindly, note that only submissions that meet the above requirements and sent via the stated address will be considered.

Publication fee is N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira only) which will be paid only when the paper is accepted.
